How it works

Bluescore turns learning activity into verified academic reputation

Four audience views. One student-first system. Choose the flow you want to understand.

Student flow

  1. Create your free account and start building your repository.

  2. Upload notes, create flashcards, and map your syllabus chapter by chapter.

  3. Complete chapters and take verification quizzes (60% AI from your materials, 40% peer-validated).

  4. Your Bluescore updates in real time across seven components — Effort verified by Study Monitor.

  5. Share your portfolio, exam snapshots, and optional University Admissions view.

  6. Earn via paid content (Seller Subscription $1/month, zero transaction commission), teaching sessions, and employer engagements.

How the score works

Seven components. One clearer signal of what a student actually knows.

Knowledge

38%

Quiz results on your own material — chapter quizzes blend AI-generated (60%) and peer-validated (40%) questions.

Effort

24%

Study Monitor verified — browser extension and desktop agent distinguish active study from idle tabs.

Peer Contribution

19%

Answers given. Resources shared. Sessions taught.

School Teacher

4.5%

Endorsements from your linked school teacher.

Private Tutor

4.5%

Endorsements from your registered tutor or coaching institute.

Employer Validation

5%

Ratings from verified employers after completed gigs, internships, or side projects on Bluescore.

Parent Observation

5%

Offline study habits logged by your parent or guardian.

If your school is not on Bluescore and you have no active private tutor, verified peer endorsements on specific chapters can contribute up to 2% as Peer Validation — shown separately from teacher validation on your portfolio.

Why decay?

Bluescore measures current knowledge, not historical performance. If knowledge is not revisited, the score gradually decays to reflect what a student can still demonstrate today.

What else ships in Phase 1

After the Phase 1a student core, the broader Phase 1 platform rolls out — including:

  • Bluescore Study Monitor — browser extension and desktop agent with on-device activity classification
  • Peer learning network — forum, question bank, and community moderation
  • Chapter verification quizzes (60% AI-generated from your materials, 40% peer-validated)
  • Score decay, exam snapshots, and shareable academic portfolio
  • Opt-in social activity feed and collaborative workspaces
  • Live and recorded teaching sessions; paid content with Seller Subscription ($1/month, zero transaction commission)
  • Private tutor linking and coaching institute workflows
  • Parent dashboard and observation module (Phase 1b)
  • School and tutor class tools; employer engagement platform
